Community Safety Partnerships

In Lanarkshire there are two Community Safety Partnerships - North and South Lanarkshire - which aim to protect people's right to live without fear for their own or any others safety. Community safety is about improving the quality of life by reducing crime and the fear of crime, reducing instances of injury as a result of accidents, promoting good citizenship, supporting vulnerable groups and creating a safe and secure environment for people to live, work and play.

All agencies involved are convinced of the need to work together to deliver co-ordinated and sustainable programmes that will make our communities safer.
